Some prizes are worth the journey.
We are The Cartographers. We believe the British wilderness has been forgotten — that the art of finding one’s way, by map, by compass, by riddle and by patience, is slipping into silence.
So we have hidden something. A real prize, of real value, somewhere in the wild.
To find it, you will walk. You will think. You will read the land as those before us did.
The first Long Hunt begins soon.
Before you join us, a small test. The Hunt will ask far more than this — but every trail begins somewhere.
Older than the oldest word, we keep a shape we did not choose.
We were raised for a reckoning the raisers took to their graves.
We are many, yet we are one.
Walk among us, and you walk among the dead’s intentions.
What are we?
